Terms & Conditions
Last updated 16 September 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and Amaka Nwoye, trading as "Elevait" ("Elevait", "we", "us"), operating the Elevait Life Cycle service at elevaitlifecycle.app under the name "Elevait". By creating an account or continuing to use Elevait, you agree to these terms. If you are using Elevait on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you have authority to bind it; if you are using it as an individual, you confirm you are of legal age in your country. You can reach us at info@elevait.org.
What Elevait is
Elevait is a reflective clarity service: a private space to write about your day, close it, and receive written weekly, monthly and yearly reflections generated with the help of AI. Elevait is not medical, psychological, financial, legal or tax advice. Reflections are generated from what you write and may be inaccurate or incomplete — please use your own judgement and seek a qualified professional where it matters.
Your account
Keep your sign-in details confidential; you are responsible for activity under your account. Please give accurate information and keep it up to date, and tell us if you believe your account has been used without your permission.
Acceptable use
You must not misuse Elevait. In particular, you must not:
- use it for anything unlawful, or to harm, harass or defraud anyone;
- send spam, malware, or attempt to probe, scan or interfere with our security or infrastructure;
- scrape, reverse engineer, resell, redistribute or circumvent technical limits of the service;
- upload content you do not have the rights to, or that infringes anyone's intellectual property;
- use the AI features to generate unlawful content, hateful content, deepfakes, malware, or to attempt to bypass safety limits.
You are responsible for what you write and upload, for how you use what Elevait returns, and for checking its accuracy. We may remove content, filter or refuse outputs, and suspend accounts to enforce these rules. If you believe content on Elevait infringes your rights, email us and we will act on valid complaints, including terminating repeat infringers.
Your content and our licence
What you write stays yours. You grant us a limited licence to host, store and process it solely to provide the service to you. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use Elevait within the plan you have chosen. Elevait and all of its software, design, documentation and branding remain our property.
Payments and subscriptions
Elevait Clarity is offered as a monthly or yearly subscription. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until cancelled, and prices are shown on our pricing page, exclusive of any tax that applies where you live. You can cancel at any time from Account → Membership; your access continues to the end of the period you have already paid for.
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.
Billing, tax, invoicing, cancellation and refund mechanics are governed by the Paddle Buyer Terms. See also our Refund Policy.
Service level
We work to keep Elevait available and dependable, but we cannot guarantee it will be uninterrupted, timely or error-free. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate your access for material breach of these terms, non-payment, a security or fraud risk, or repeated or serious policy violations. You can close your account at any time. When access ends you will have 30 days to request an export of your entries, after which they may be deleted.
Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, consequential or special damages, including loss of profits, data or goodwill, and our total liability is limited to the fees you paid in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or anything else that cannot be limited by law. You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from your content, your unlawful use, or your breach of these terms.
General
We may update these terms; if changes are material we will let you know in the app or by email. You may not assign this agreement without our consent; we may assign it as part of a merger, acquisition or sale of assets. Neither party is liable for delays caused by events beyond reasonable control. These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and disputes will be handled by its courts, without affecting consumer rights you have where you live.
